Yum Search Linux
GEEKS !!
Though you have used the yum command in your RHCE Training or any other Red Hat Linux Training.
But, sometimes it can happen that you forget the exact name of the package you wish to install.
Now it can be a difficult situation.
In these kind of cases you can use –
yum search keyword-for-the-package
It will give you a list of all the packages where that related term / word appears in the summary, name or description. Thus, making your life easy to pick your choice of package and install it.
