Tcp Wrappers Linux
Its really chill in New Delhi, India and even the fingers areeeee not working on keyboard. 🙂
You all are familiar with TCP Wrappers and /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny file and you have worked quite a lot with them during your RHCE Training or RHCSS Training or while working with Red Hat Linux.
Here, I am:
Sharing you a very simple trick to block all unused or dangerous services (only services those tcp wrapper) using TCP Wrapper.
You can easily configure your /etc/hosts.allow file for the services you want to cater. No big deal. 🙂
But now you want to stop all other services, to avoid any misuse.
Just check the configuration I am showing in the illustration and tell me what it will do to other services those are not mentioned in /etc/hosts.allow.
