Assigning Swap Automatically

Geeks .. hope you have enjoyed your Sunday. Time to come out from hibernate mode.

Here is my “Linux Challenge of the Day”.

You all know how to use the “kickstart” installation for installing Linux on your machines automatically. You can define the partitions etc. You can define the packages to get installed. But, I have a problem.

The problem is that my machines don’t have same amount to RAM. The amount of RAM varies from machine to machine. Now I cannot define static RAM of a specific size. I need swap to be created taking into consideration the amount of RAM available. And I cannot use multiple kickstart files.

Tell me the way out.
