Check differences in files using rsync
Good Morning and lets start the day with a very useful and informative tip on Linux “rsync” command (gosh.. when we will end talking about rsync)
Lets suppose there is a change in the sizes, owners and groups in the files between the source and the target. And being a very intelligent and aware Linux system admin. you want to check and see during sync of files between source and target about any changes in size and owner or group.
Here you can use your trusted “rsync” with -i option. This will display you the differences found in the source and target files.
