Check Linux rsync backup progress
Sorry for posting today’s tip slightly delayed.
Lets continue with our rsync command.
While using rsync for backup, you might be interested in knowing the progress of the backup. Like you might be interested in how many files are copies, what rate it is copying the file, etc.
Feel free to use –progress option with rsync to displays detailed progress of rsync execution.
